you've claimed all this time that you would die for me...
why then are you so surprised when you hear your own eulogy?
:iconamadrierith:

Hell is so beautiful that it would torment an angel to insanity

Beautiful work! Always wished that I could do that...never had a steady enough hand for this penmanship... My grandfather used to make it look so easy....:D

Thank you :D

It was kind of an experiment - just to see if I could do scrollwork. Realised I could and then got bored of it lol. But its something I keep meaning to go back to as the results are so beautiful.

But now .... after looking at your gallery, I've done a really silly thing and downloaded apophysis - so I can't imagine I'll get back to scrollwork any time soon :P
:iconpatrx:
LOL...you're in for it now....that Apophysis is absolutely addicting....:D Have fun!! It helps to have a fast processor and lots of RAM memory when it comes to rendering the images. It keeps me occupied and helps pass the days..not to mention filling up the hard drive..LOL I must have close to 10GB of fractal and Apophysis images...:D

Mmmm yes, I'm beginning to realise that :P I haven't played with fractal generation since fractint - for dos! LOL - that must have been years ago.

I'm going to upload my first attempts into my scraps section in a moment - I've been playing with making the pics and then running them through the psp7 kaleidoscope function ....
:iconpatrx:
I never tried fractint but I think I've used most all of Steven Ferguson's fractal applications...Inkblot, Itiera, Sterlingware, TieraZon, etc. over the last 6 years or so. It's amazing how the time flies while messing with these applications. But, I think the Apophysis has been the most addicting of all of them....one can't resist doing one more...LOL. One of these days I'm going to have to invest in a graphics tablet to work with these in Photoshop a bit better....:D

Am now *totally* hooked on apophysis. My laptop doesn't know what hit it - it now gets to work normally all day and gets to do big renders at night when its used to having down time :P I'd love to get a graphics tablet but I don't quite dare - I'd be too distracted from my "real" art - its too addictive playing around with Photoshop!! (Not that I think traditional art is "better" than digital art - its just my real love ;))
